The quickSearch adds a text box to the toolbar adjacent to the search button which can be used to perform wildcard searching against multiple text columns. The quickSearch feature is very simple to use and provides the maximum chance of finding a matching record without knowing exactly which column to search against. Simply type your search criteria into the box and the search is actioned automatically when you stop typing. By default quickSearch is applyed to all the text columns. You can limit the columns against which the search is applied by specifying the simpleSearch column property.
